SBI Circle Based Officer (CBO) Admit Card 2025: State Bank of India has released the exam date for the recruitment of Circle Based Officers (CBO) for the year 2025. The SBI Bank CBO online written exam will be held on 20 July 2025. The candidates will soon be able to download the SBI CBO Admit Card 2025 from the SBI’s official website bank.sbi/ careers page. The selected candidates will be posted in their applied Circle only and will not be entitled to inter-circle or foreign posting for up to 12 years or promotion to SMGS-IV, whichever is later. The online test is tentatively scheduled to be held in July 2025.

SBI Circle Based Officer Recruitment 2025 Vacancies, Eligibility, Qualification, Age Limit
There are a total of 2,964 vacancies (2,600 regular + 364 backlog) distributed across various Circles. Candidates can apply for only one Circle, and must be proficient in the local language of that Circle.
Educational Qualification:
Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university or equivalent qualification approved by the Central Government.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years experience as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank as on 30.04.2025.
Age Limit (as on 30.04.2025):
21 to 30 years (Born between 01.05.1995 to 30.04.2004)
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- PwBD (Gen/EWS): 10 years, PwBD (OBC): 13 years, PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
SBI Circle Based Officer Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
The selection process includes the following stages:
- Online Test
- Screening
- Interview
- Local Language Test
Candidates must qualify each stage. Final merit list will be prepared based on the marks in the Online Test and Interview with 75:25 weightage.

Objective Test (120 Marks – 2 Hours)
- English Language: 30 Questions – 30 Marks – 30 minutes
- Banking Knowledge: 40 Questions – 40 Marks – 40 minutes
- General Awareness/Economy: 30 Questions – 30 Marks – 30 minutes
- Computer Aptitude: 20 Questions – 20 Marks – 20 minutes
Descriptive Test (50 Marks – 30 minutes)
- English Language (Letter Writing & Essay)
